Sons of Liberty:
Rocking stages since 2014 Sons of Liberty are the UK's own Hard Southern Rock Band! They’re a group of well travelled musicians from Bristol and South Wales drawn together by a shared love of the incredible music of the Southern States of America - and their desire to share this with the people of the UK and beyond. A hi-energy band who deliver an authentic and fresh show built on professional musical ability, but with a solid sense of fun too. After three years of building a solid reputation as an all-southern rock covers band, in 2017 they stepped things up and set out to write and record some original material - the result was the highly acclaimed debut EP ...Shinola, released in early 2018, delivering five tracks of home-ground hard hitting southern rock 'n' roll. And there was plenty more in the tank too - the follow up EP Aged in Oak, released to great acclaim in September 2018, stepped things up a notch or three, and featured the single 'Damned If You Do' with five other killer songs. 2019 saw the band writing and recording their first full album – Animism, released through Roulette Records on October 25th. Yep, there’s eleven new tracks of pure Awesomism! With rousing performances at Giants of Rock, Planet Rockstock, Rock and Blues Custom Show, Rockin The Bowl, Crazy Cowboy, Cornwall Rocks and Hard Rock Hell CROWS under their belts, this home-town headline show should be a night to remember..... Hell Yeah!
With a musical talent that completely defies their young age (Zach Cornish - 18, vocals and bass, Ben Cornish - 17, guitar and vocals, Dan Aston - 15, drums) Ethyrfield have already been causing jaws to drop on the live music scene for a couple of years. 2019 has seen the release of their second EP Taurus, plus astounding performances at Hard Rock Hell and Cornwall Rocks. This builds on a fantastic 2018 for the band, which had them winning the Metal 2 The Masses heat for the West Country securing them a position at the 2018 Bloodstock festival, and a fan vote win from the Introducing Stage at Giants of Rock festival securing them a main stage slot for the same festival the following year. With complex arrangements, beautiful harmony vocals, astounding musicianship and an effortless confident performance Ethyrfield show that the future of rock music is in safe hands.
